Donald Richard WYSS, 80, 6880 Seefeldt Rd., Lena, died on Sunday, August 1, 1999 at Bay Area Medical Center after a short illness. He was born on October 1, 1918 son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Lucy AGGEN) WYSS in New Holstein, Wisconsin. Donald married the former Flossie A. SEEFELDT on September 5, 1942 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Town of Grover, by Pastor Norman Schlavinsky.
He was engaged in farming and was employed by Bay Shipbuilding until his retirement in April 1984. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Flossie; one daughter, JoAnn (Charles) ENGLAND of Appleton; one son, Donald F. (Christine) WYSS of Lena; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Lorraine KANE, Gladys WYSS, Florence (Ralph) SPITZMACHER all of Peshtigo.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers-Robert, Ed, Melvin and Herbert.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 3 at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home, Peshtigo from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 4 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Town of Grover from 10 a.m. until time of services there at 11 a.m.
