She was born June 24, 1917 at Rockford, Illinois to the late August and Edith (Sjolin) Norman. Dagmar married George Noel May 21, 1935 at Oconto; he preceded her in death in 1978. She worked at Elliot Glove Co., Oconto and Husco in Waukesha. She was a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary at Winter, WI; the Civil Air Patrol; Ladies Aid at Zion Lutheran Church, Winter, WI. Dagmar loved traveling, crafts, painting, fishing, hunting and water skiing.
Dagmar is survived by three daughters Carol (Randal) Monette, Abrams; Janice (James) Botbyl, Fairfield Glade, TN; Alice (Neil) Rountree, Thomas-ville, GA; twelve grandchildren Robin, Jay, Gina, Mark, Jeff, Chris, Lisa, Gayle, Jimmy, Steve, Ronnie and Ben; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a son Charles; two brothers Harry and Adolph Norman; two great-grandchildren Jeffrey LeFave and Quinton Monette.
Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto on Monday. Funeral service was 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Richard DeBenedetto officiating. Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Zion Lutheran Church, Winter, WI.
