Darrel 'Mike' Alsteen

Darrel 'Mike' Alsteen age 68 Logan Road Suring died unexpectedly at home December 30, 2000. He was born in Tonet Wisconsin March 14, 1932 to the late Robert and Viola (Frisque) Alsteen., Mike retired from Teamsters Local # 8 in Milwaukee as an Iron worker following a work injury in the early 1970's. He had married Gloria Wiberg November 13, 1959 she survives living in Green Say. Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing, He loved taking care of Shi his granddaughter which was a full five day a week pleasure. He had served his country in the Army and has a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Suring.

Survivors include Gloria of Green Bay. His 3 daughters and their families. Jenny Alsteen and (John Johnson), Debra Alsteen all Green Bay. Gloria Ann and (Dennis Malcore) of Casco. His 2 brothers, Leonard (Mary) Alsteen of Oneida. Bernard (Mary) Alsteen of Luxenburg- His sister Julaine (Cary) Vandermuss of Luxenburg. 4 grandchildren. Shi, Sandy, Allen and Kevin. Nieces and nephews, also special friends George and Lorie, John and Becky.

Preceded in death by a brother Aloise.

Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Tuesday January 2, 2001 beginning at 4 p.m. Funeral Services 7 p.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Father Paul Schumacher officiating. Burial in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery.
