Mrs. Dora Brooks Passes at Falls
Mrs. Dora S. Brooks, 56, died at an Oconto Falls hospital Saturday morning after a year's illness.
Mrs. Brooks, the former Dora Marsh, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Marsh, was born in Outagamie county June 11, 1888. A few years later she moved with her parents on the Town Line, and July 8, 1908 she was married to Ray Brooks at Oconto. He preceded her in death eight years ago.
After their marriage they lived at Newald and Saunders, Mich., until about a year ago when she became ill.
Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Jeanette Fierdick, Beloit; two nieces, Mrs. Lars Johnson, Oconto Falls, and Athea Frierdich, Evanston, Ill., and three nephews in the armed forces.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Kuehl Funeral home with the Rev. Marvin Schilling, Oconto Falls, officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn.
The body is at the Kuehl Funeral home where it may be viewed until the time of the services Tuesday. --
