Donald L. TELFORD

Donald L. Telford, 51, Highway 32 N., Suring, died at home following a lengthy illness on January 29, 2000.

He was born in Oconto Falls to Donald H. and Claudine (Miller) Telford on November 16, 1948. Don married Anita Westenberger July 10, 1971 at St. John Lutheran Church in Pulcifer. He had farmed, on the family farm in the Town of How for over 20 years. Don did custom cropping and was employed by Fleet Farm in Green Bay until his health forced him to resign from work. Currently Donald served on the Oconto County Board of Supervisors where he represented the Townships of How and Breed. He enjoyed deer hunting and was a member of the Suring United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Anita ,of Suring; his mother, Claudine Telford of Suring; his aunt, JoAnn (Roland) Dobratz of Shawano and their family; his uncle, Bert Miller and special friend; sister-in-law, Sandra Telford of Topeka, KS; brother-in-law, Sherban,(Judy) Westenberger of Underhill; sister-in-law, Sandy (Vernon) Leisch of Oconto Falls and their family; nieces and nephew. He is also survived by his three favorite dogs, Beagle, Bear and Indy.

Don was preceded in death by, his father on November 8 1988 and his brother, Harry, September 19,1998.

Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Tuesday February 1, 2000 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services Wednesday at the Funeral Home 11 a.m. with Pastor LaVern Ulrichson officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

A memorial has been established. If the love and prayers of family, and his many friends could have made him well, Donnie would be with us now. God bless all of you.
