She was born February 9, 1940 in Sheboygan to Delbert and Norma (Widder) Klemme. Dianne was the recipient of a Betty Crocker Award and also reigned as Teen Queen against Polio in 1958 while being a hish school student in Sheboygan. She moved to Suring in 1976 where she had been employed by the Junction Grocery, Laverne. and Gail's Restaurant and recently at Evenflo until her health forced her to resign from work. She enjoyed, crafts of all kinds, belonged to the Lutheran Brotherhood, A.A.L. and presently was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed.
Survivors include her mother, Norma Klemme of Sheboygan Falls; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott Kendal and Nancy Klemme of Sheboygan Falls; one sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Charles Hart of Manitowoc; one niece and five nephews. Dianne was preceded in death by her father, Delbert, two brothers, Vernon and Kenneth.
Friends called at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring. Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday January 18 2000 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed with Pastor Paul A. Schounemann officiating. Burial in Breed Union Cemetery. memorials can be given to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Sunday School and MADD Oconto County.
