Dorothy E. Kitzman DAMP

Dorothy E. Damp, 73, 155 Degan Rd., Oconto Falls, died Tuesday morning, February 15, 2000 at a Green Bay hospital following a 13 month illness with cancer. She was born December 16, 1926 in Hayes to Emil and Dorothea (Bovea) Kitzman. On May 21, 1949 she married Donald C. Damp in Oconto Falls. Dorothy lived in Oconto Falls for most of her life and had worked for Scott Paper Co. for a short time. She was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Larry Damp, Oconto Falls; Robert and Susan Damp, Oconto Falls; Rickie and Veronica Damp, Pulaski; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and James Kruse, Oconto Falls; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; one brother, Roger Kitzman; four sisters, Irene Peterson; Valda Payette; Betty Lambert; Beverly Amdsen; her best friend and bingo buddy, Betty Kitzman, Lena. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald, on November 8, 1987; three brothers, Robert, Harold and Gordon Kitzman, and three sisters, Charlotte Williquette, Margaret Gillis and Lorraine Damp.

Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Funeral service was held 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls with the Rev. Shaun McFarland officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
