                                            Mrs. Johnson Dies At Daughter's Home

Mrs. Dorothea Johnson, 88, died early this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Peter Iversen, 954 Howard street. She had been ill for two months.

 Born in Denmark, Europe, in 1862, Mrs. Johnson came to the United States at the age of 18. She was married to John W. Johnson in 1884, and the couple farmed in Oconto county for several years. Later they operated a hardware business at Suring for a few years.

They came to Green Bay in 1916. Mr. Johnson preceded his wife in death in 1934.

Mrs. Johnson, a member of the Bethel Lutheran church, was also a member of the church Ladies' Aid and a charter member of the Danish Sisterhood.

 Besides Mrs. Iversen, she is survived by another daughter, mrs Hilda Hansen, Tucson, Ariz., two sons, Will, Pound, and Bernhardt, Chicago, Ill., 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A brother, Nels Johnson, Shawano, also survives.

The body is at the Lyndal Funeral home, from where it will be removed to Bethel Lutheran church Wednesdauy noon. Services will be conducted by Rev. Elmer C. Christensen at the church at 2o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in Fort Howard cemetery.

For Mrs. Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothea Johnson 88, who died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Peter Iversen, 954 Howard street, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Bethel Lutheran church. The Rev. E. C. Christensen will conduct the rites and burial will be in Fort Howard cemetery. The body is at the Lyndahl funeral home and will taken to the church Wednesday noon.
