Doreen Lydia Wilson (nee Delikat), 73 Suring, WI died Saturday, April 22, 2000. Doreen was born September 9, 1926 to the late Lydia (nee Clauer) and Fredrick Delikat. She married David Wilson on September 30, 1944. They lived in South Milwaukee until their retirement in 1983 when they moved to Grindle Lake in Crivitz and remained there until David’s death in 1987. Doreen then moved to Breed, WI. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, Oak Creek for 28 years and later Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed.

Survivors include her children, Darleen (Paul) Berntson, Larry (Sandy) Wilson, Kathy (Don) Kieweg, David (Joy) Wilson and Julie Wilson; 11 grandchildren and five great-granddaughters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is also survived by her beloved and cherished companion of almost nine years, Victor "Bud" Meles.

She was preceded in death by her husband David, her mother Lydia, her father Fredrick, and her two sisters, Dorothy and Delores.

Visitation was held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed, Wednesday, April 26, 2000 beginning at 12 noon until funeral services at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Paul Scheunemann officiating. Visitation continued Thursday April 27, 2000 at Forest Hill Memorial Park; Oak Creek Chapel at 11:30 a.m. until committal service 1 p.m. with Pastor Dean Dummer officiating. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Suring, WI or Unity Hospice, Green Bay, WI.
