David Heidenworth, Pionerr Settler 
Passes Away At Home After Four Week Ilness

IN PESHITIGO SINCE 1893
Came from Germany in 1887; Conducted Farm in Grover for Many Years;
Member of Co. F

The death of David Heidenworth which occurred this morning at 8:45 o'clock removes another pioneer from the community. Mr. heidenworth had been in ailing health for some time but the final illness did not assume alarming proportions until the last few weeks tuberculosis of the intestines being the cause of his death.

The deseased was vorn in Mickelberg, Germany June 26, 1873 and had resided here since the year 1893 previous to conducting a large farm in Grover for many years. He was always prominent in public affairs, being supervisor og the town of Peshtigo before it was incorporated, a supervisor and a member of the county board for seven years after it was incorporated and a member of the Marinette County Asylum fo the past five years, recently being selected to serve another term of three years. He was a member of Co. F, 12th Wisconsin Infantry serving three years and ten months in the Civil war and a member of the GAR.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Carrie Heidenworth and two brothers, Christ of this city and Joseph of Long Beach, Calif., two step-daughters, Mrs B Rodenbeck of Chicago and Mrs H L Arthur of this city also a step-son Chas. Price of Oconto.

The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
