SURING - Delmar F. Gipp, age 78, Shawano, formerly Suring, died at Maple Lane Health Care Center February 1, 2000 following a short illness. He was born June 19, 1921 in the township of How to the late Hugo and Ida (Neitzel) Gipp. Delmar lived and worked on the family farm in the town of How until 1956. He resided at Maple Lane the past 43 years, and he was a member at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hayes.

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Myrtle Gipp of Shawano. His nephew Larry (Patricia) Gipp of Shawano. His niece Joyce Witthuhn of Suring. Nephews Maynard (Lucille) Schuettpelz, Roger Schuettpelz all Suring. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother-in-law Arlene and Elmer Schuettpelz, a brother Arthur Gipp, a brother and sister-in-law Alvin and Leona Gipp, a niece Janice Johnson, and a nephew, DeWayne Gipp.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, Feb. 5 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Hayes with Pastor Russell Kampfer officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thank you to the nursing staff at Maple Lane and to Dr. Dauphinee for all the special care they gave Delmar during his final days.
