Diane "Dee Dee" Grady, 50, of 13901 Section 4 Lane, Mountain, formerly of DePere, died Tuesday December 14, 1999, as the result of an automobile accident.
Dee Dee was born November 12, 1949, in Green Bay, to the late Kenneth Carol Deacon and Elaine (Kempen) Deacon. Mrs. Grady married Mike Grady on November 7, 1980, in Green Bay. Dee Dee worked for Kendall Manufacturing for 31 years.
Survivors include her husband, Mike; mother, Elaine (Kempen) Deacon, of DePere; four brothers, Michael Deacon, of Crystal Lake, IL; Paul and Barb Deacon, of Howard; Richard and Mary Deacon, of DePere; Charles Deacon, of DePere; one sister, Pat and Tim Sanders, of Lake Forest, IL; three step-children, Paula Armstrong, Lisa Grady, Scott Grady; five step-grandchildren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pat and Joan Grady, Lakewood; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ann and Karl Hoffman of DePere; Laura Gonnering, DePere; Mary and Richard Williamson, Muscoda; Pat and Lois Grady, Freedom; Rosie Pouquette and friend Ron, of Appleton; Fred Grady, of Freedom; Cindy Grady, Kaukauna; Frank Grady, Kaukauna; and special friends Ralph and Carol. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Dee Dee was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Carol Deacon; son Jimmy; mother-in-law, Juline; and godchild, Colt Ringer.
Friends called at the Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street. Visitation continued at the funeral home Friday, from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Friday, with Dee Dee’s uncle, the Rev. Gerald Kempen officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
