Dolores “Ditty” Bourassa, 88, of Oconto, passed away Monday,
June 18, 2012 at Woodland Village, Oconto. Dolores was born
February 29, 1924 in Oconto to the late Ernest and Ellen (Dagen)
Bourassa. She enjoyed golfing and bowling with her friends, and
loved the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Dolores was a
member of Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto. Dolores is survived by
five sisters, Kathryn Froelich, Oconto; Marcella “Sally” White,
Manitowoc; LaVonne Brazeau, Oconto; Mary Slempkes, Lena; Jane
(Gary) Belongia, Oconto; a sister-in-law, Frances Bourassa; and
many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother
John “Jack” Bourassa and three brothers-in-law, Joseph Brazeau,
Harry Froelich, and Edward Slempkes. The family will receive
relatives and friends at the Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto, from 9
to 11 AM Friday, June 22, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated 11 AM Friday at the church with the Rev. Joel Sember
officiating. Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery. The
Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, is assisting the family. Online
