Donald was born January 30, 1926 in Oconto, to the late Lloyd and Margaret Rhode Tourtillott. He married Mary Alderton on February 24, 1969 in Florida. Donald enjoyed golfing. He was a member of Jones-Modrow-Young Post of the American Legion. Donald is survived by his wife Mary, Oconto; three daughters, Debra Frank Ference, FL; Alycia Kenneth Frewerd, Oconto; Tara David Dionne, Oconto; four sons, Kris Debbie Tourtillott, Indiana; Kip Tourtillott, Oconto; Richard Kathy Tourtillott, Florida; Jet Tourtillott, Florida; twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Tourtillott, one brother, William Tourtillott, and one sister, Dorothy Konyn.
The family received relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday March 18, 2000. Funeral services were conducted 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Don Clarke officiating and burial at EvergreenCemetery. Military rites conducted by the Oconto American Legion.
