CHAS. ZEISMER DIES SATURDAY EVENING

Charles Zeismer, 65, a prominent farmer of the Town of Pensaukee, died Saturday evening January 21, at his home of sarcoma of the stomach. He had been ailing about two years. The deceased was born in. Ambach, West Preusen, Germany, October 15, 1862.

He came to America, in 1881, locating in Green Bay where he lived for a few years. Later he moved to Stiles and thirty-four years ago settled in Pensaukee, where he was engaged in farming. Mr. Zeismer was school director of his town for twenty years and at various times served on the town board.

He was married to Elizabeth Jahnke at Stiles, WI., on Dec.14, 1889. Mr. Zeismer is survived by his wife, five sons, Otto C., of Green Bay, Herbert of North Milwaukee, Carl, Arnold and Raymond at home, three daughters, Mrs. Gust Hundt of Brookside, Mrs. Herman W. Werth of North Milwaukee and Mrs. Fred Topel of Pensaukee, six grandchildren, and one brother, Gustave Zeismer of Lena. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the German Lutheran Church at Pensaukee. Rev. H. Elsenbach officiated, and interment was made in the Brookside cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Charles Hoernke, Fred Krueger, Fred Eckert, Herman Lepinski, August Naska and Albert Lobos. Mr. Zeismer was a member of M. W. A. lodge of Oconto.

Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Werth and son and Herbert Zeismer of North Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. 0. C. Zeismer and sons, Mrs. E. A. Barlament and daughter, Hattie, Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wise, Mr and Mrs. Gust Zeismer and son Eward, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Zeismer and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Netter, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kutke all of Lena; Mrs. Theodore Wentel of Sheboygan; Mrs. C. F. Meyers and family of Morgan; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kilefoth, Mr. and Mrs. George Meyer and Mrs. Otto Garbick of Oconto Falls and Mr, and Mrs. Reinhold Huebseher of Coleman.
