He was born Dec. 29, 1881 at Oconto and left there 30 years ago to work in Eau Claire, where he has been employed ever since.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha Rhode; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Bork, of Quincy, Mass.; and one brother, Albert of Oconto.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Friday at the mother's home at 3 o'clock at the First American Lutheran Church, Oconto. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
The body will be taken from the Gallagher funeral home to the mother's home this evening.
