Mr. Carl W. Noack, 88, 3265 County A, Oconto, died Friday evening March 3, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center, Green Bay.

Carl was born in Oconto December 15, 1911, the son of the late August and Ida (Gratz) Noack. In 1917 the family moved to a farm in the Town of Little River. They built a house and other farm buildings. Carl's father died in 1941 at which time he took over the farm. He farmed until 1957 at which time he sold the farm. After that he did odd jobs and worked around home. The house Carl grew up in is where he lived all of his life. Even in his later years, Carl kept active working around the yard and in his garden. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Oconto, and was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge for over 65 years.

Survivors include two nephews, Dennis (Shirley) Wyent of Downers Grove, IL and Kenneth (Janet) Noack of Parrish, FL, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Carl was preceded in death by two brothers, Merle and Clifford, and by two sisters, Mildred and Margaret.

Relatives and friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 121 Chicago St. Oconto from 3 until 7:15 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2000. Service of Christian Burial was held at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Clarke officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
