Passed Away at Brookside Last Saturday
RESIDED THERE 46 YEARS
Sister H. D. Whitcomb This City - Three Sons Survive Her - Suffered With Cancer Six Years.

Mrs. Caroline Delano, one of the pioneers of the town of Pensaukee, died at her home in Brookside Saturday, November 2, after an illness of six years, with cancer in the face, aged 64 years.

Deceased was born in Brighton, Walworth County, August 1, 1843, and in 1861 came to Pensaukee with her parents and had been a continuous resident of the town since that time. January 18, 1863, she was united in marriage to the late Edgar Delano and is survived by three sons, Clarence S. and Egbert of Suamico and Harry E. who resides on the old homestead. She is also survived by one brother, Harry D. Whitcomb of Oconto and an unlimited number of friends who mourn her departure.

The funeral was held from the Methodist church at Brookside Monday, Rev. C. G. Tollifsen officiating, with interment in the Brookside cemetery.
