MRS. TREPANIER FUNERAL SATURDAY  
 

Mrs. George J. Trepanier, 76, died last Wednesday at 8:40 p.m. at her home at 411 Washington St. after an illness of a few hours. She had become ill that morning.

The former Clara Spice, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spice, was born September 24, 1876 in the town of Little River. She was married to Mr. Trepanier June 27, 1899 at St. Joseph's church by Rev. Lochman. They lived in Oconto Falls for 12 years and in Marinette for 13 years, moving to Oconto in 1926. She was a member of the Catholic Woman's club and the Altar Rosary society.

The body was taken to the Sheffield Funeral home where it remained until the funeral hour. Rev. Donald Schneider officiated at final rites at 9 0'clock Saturday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic church and burial was in the Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers were Harry, Howard, Vincent, Gene and Harland Bauldry and Robert Witalison.

Rosary services were conducted Thursday evening by the Catholic Woman's club, Friday evening by the parish and the Altar – Rosary society and Friday evening by the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors beside her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Alvila Bauldry of Egg Harbor and Mrs. George LaChapelle of Escanaba; two sons, George M. and Francis of Milwaukee; and five sisters, Mrs. Joseph Fifrick, Plymouth; Mrs. John Cook, Waukegan, Ill., Mrs. George Kinziger and Mrs. Laura Scholtz, Milwaukee and Mrs. Ernest Hassenfeldt, Oconto. There are 16 grandchildren and nine great – grandchildren.
