Cleo Marie Ehlinger, 89, Suring, died in Green Bay on February 7, 2000. Cleo was born April 9, 1910. She is the daughter of the late Harvey and Christina Sorenson. She lived most of her life in Suring and enjoyed the winters in Charlotte Harbor, Florida. She married Laurence Ehlinger June 19 1928 at Antigo. He preceded, her in death on December 12, 1993. They were married 65 years. They owned and operated the Ehlinger garage in Suring until retirement. She was a member of Mt. Olive Church in Suring.

Survivors include two sons, Don (Beverly) Ehlinger, Suring, Larry (Carol) Ehlinger, Green Bay; one stepdaughter, Audrey Bauer, Pickerel; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lois and son-in-law, Eugene Detert; two brothers, Millard and Vilas Sorenson; a sister, Mabel Smith, and her parents, Harvey and Christina Sorenson.

Friends and relatives will be received on Friday February 11 2000 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Suring beginning at 10:30 a.m., until Memorial Service 11 a.m. with Pastor Russell Kampfer officiating. Interment at Frostville Cemetery in spring.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been, established at: Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home, Suring, in charge of arrangements.
