His body was discovered by Charles Western and Freeman Gidney, when they came to the house. He had evidently suffered a heart attack when he sat down to eat breakfast, and had fallen off his chair. The body was under the table in the kitchen, and his breakfast was on the table when they found him.
The remains were taken to the Zingler funeral home in Suring. The funeral will be held at one thirty Saturday afternoon from his home on Kelly Lake, where he had been living for the past 17 years, and the body will be brought to Oconto for burial in the Evergreen cemetery, beside his wife who preceded him in death several years ago.
The deceased was born in Germany, and came to this country at an early age, living most of his life in Oconto County. He had a home in Lena, where he lived for many years. He served as member of assembly during the administrations of Fred R. Zimmerman, Walter J. Kohler and Phillip LaFoilette, from 1927 to 1933. He was an uncle of Capt. E.O. Schoenebeck, Oconto.
