She was born March 23, 1910 in Oconto County to the late Joseph and Barbara (Knadlha) Slatky. On June 14, 1934, she married Swen Bowman; he preceded her in death November 22, 1980. Clara had been a teacher in the Mountain, Lena, and Ashwaubenon area for many years. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Audrey Bowman, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Michael Lefebvre, Green Bay; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchi1dren; three sisters, Leona Kust, Crivitz; Emma Clarksen, De Pere; Mabel Blahnik, Green Bay; and one sister-in-law, Viola Slatky, Oconto Falls.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Frank Slatky; and two sisters, Marion Schuette and Josephine Clarksen.
Friends called after 5 p.m. Thursday, October 26, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd., where the funeral service took place at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Entombment was in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
