Charles Price Answers Final
Summons
After Ailing for Three Years
Charles Price was called to his final rest last Thursday evening, death
occuring at the Oconto hospirtal at 10:45 o'clock, where he had been confined
for the last two weeks. Mr. Price had been ailing for the past three years
with pulmonary tuberculosis.
Deseased was born in Peshtigo March 7, 1863. He is survived by his
wife, who was formerly Miss Tillie Davis of Oconto, two sons by a former
marriage, John and Emery Price of Peshtigo, his mother, Mrs. Eliza Heidenworth
of Peshtigo, and three sisters, Miss Carrie Heidenworth of Peshtigo, Mrs.
Emma Rodenbeck of Chicago, and Miss Hattie Heidenworth of Long Beach, Calif.
Two vrothers preceded Mr. Price in death seven uears ago. He is survived
bu four grandchildren. The remains of Mr. Price were removed from the hospital
to N.J. Gagnon's undertaking roons and prepared for burial and later removed
to his home on First street. On Saturdau morning his body was shipped to
Peshtigo accompanied by his wife and the funeral was hepd there Sunday
afternoon at 2 o'clock from the M. E. church, Rev. Bailey of Marinette
officiating with burial beside his first wife in Riverside cemetery, Peshtigo.
Misses Evelyn Harper, Phylis Heidenworth and Miss Chrisler sang
" Lead Kindly Light," "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," amd " Face to Face.
There was a beautiful array of floral offerings.
The casket bearers were: G.J. Ziegohn, Allen Alguire, Frank Zimmerman,
H M Picard, Lawrence Barrett and Ben Weidenhaft.
Out of town realatives and friends who attended the obsequies
were, C W Davis, Clyde Davis, Miss Gertude Davis, Mrs. Clark, Mrs Olson
and Mrs Showatia of Oconto, Mr and Mrs Wilbur Bartels, Abrams, Mr and Mrs
Pecard and Mr and Mrs Wm Kelly, Menominee: Wm Phelan, Kenosha, Patrick
Phelan, Middle Inlet; Mr and Mrs D P Davis, Mrs Ella Boulac, Mr and Mrs
Charles Bartels, Mrs E J Harbeck and John Bartels, all fo Marinette.

Charles Price Dies
A message was received here by relatives at 11 o'clock last evening
announcing the death of Charles Price, which occured at a hospital in Oconto,
where he had been a patient the past two weeks. Mr Price had been ailing
for a number of years, having undergone an operation about two years ago,
from which he never fully recovered. Cancer if the stomach is given as
the cause of death. The deceased was 56 years of age and was a redisent
of the city until his removal to Oconto a number of years ago.
Mr. Price was married to Miss Margaret Phelan of Grover who died
twenty years ago. Of this union two sons survive being John and Emery Price
of Grover of this city. In April 1905 he was married a second time to Mathilda
Davis of Oconto, his widow who survives. He is also survived by his mother
Mrs Eliza Heldenworth of this city; two sisters Mrs Hattie Heidenworth,
Long Beach, Calif, Mrs William Rodenbeck, Chicago, and one hald-sister,
Miss Carrie Heidenworth of this city. Four grandchildren also survive beinf
Loretta, Helen, Alice, and Jean Price.
The body will arrive here this evening and wll be taken to
the home of his mother Mrs E. Heidenworth.3h>
