Deaceased was born in London, England, June 15, 1828. When she was two years old she came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Priest, and settled, in the city of Odgnesburg, New York, where she grew to womanhood. In 1844 she was married to Henry Blondheim of that place. After the death of her two daughters, Mrs. Alice Orr and Mrs. Emily Campbell, they came to the town of Chase in 1876 where her husband preceded her in death Oct. 12, 1879. In 1885 she was married to Mr. John Dudley of Chase.
She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Henry and Charles Blondheim of Chase, and two sisters her senior, Mrs. A. Horkman of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. S. Rigby of Kansas City, Mo., and two brothers her junior, John Priest of Greenleaf, Kansas, and Samuel Priest of Berlin, Wis.
She also leaves 18 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. The funeral was held Jan. 9, the Methodist minister, Rev. I.H. Spityer officiating with interment in Chase cemetery. The pallbearers were H. Heinemann, A. Plautz, H. Pott, A. Fischer, J. Krause and H. Krueger.
