Clarence Norton Dead Passed Away
at home of parents Monday forenoon.
His death did not come as a surprise as it was feared when he was brought home that he could not recover and he had frequently during his illness been so delirious as to require considerable force to restrain him.
Deceased was born in Oconto May 12, 1882 and lived his whole life here except while employed elsewhere and was noted for his generous, kindly disposition. He is survived by his father, step mother, one brother Charles of Mellon, Wis, his twin sister, Mrs. Arthur Casson of Marinette, and three other sisters, Mrs. Lenoard Steffon of Hortonville, Miss Christina Norton of Marinette and Miss Etta, Oconto, also one step sister Gertrude and three step brothers, Floyd, Willard and John Brown.
The funeral was held from St. Joseph’s Church at 9:00 this morning, Rev. Sebach officiating with internment at the Catholic cemetery. All the relatives above were with him a portion of the time during his illness and at the funeral.
