A former Pensaukee resident, he was born Oct. 25, 1911. He was commercial fisherman.
He married the former Eileer Tope], who survives. Children surviving are Sandra am Richard Payment of Dillon, Mont. Barbara and William Reno, Manistique, Sharon and Avery Overbay of New Haven, Mich, .Linda and Steven Blumerich of Lake Orion, Mich., Cindy and Edwin Plettner of Garden; brothers, Francis Swaer of Pensaukee and Norbert Swaer of Pensaukee; a sister, Mrs. Herbert (Clara) Emig of Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services were held last Saturday at the Messier-Broullire Funeral Home of Garden, in charge of Rev. Gordon Fox. Burial in Garden Cemetery.
