Lippert
The deceased was a native of Luxembourg, Germany but had been a resident of this city for a number of years, and had acquired a host of friends by his genial manners and upright conduct. He had been suffering for more then a year past and about two weeks before his death underwent a charge for the worse, from which time he continued to fail rapidly, and on Saturday breathed his last. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his absence. The funeral took place at St. Joseph’s R.C. church, Rev. Fr. Sweilbach officiating and was under the suspices of the Oconto Turners, of which the deceased was a member. Besides the Turners, a large number of citizens testified their respect to the character of the departed by following the body to its last resting-place in the “silent city”.
