Charles "Charlie" WOLFORD

    Charles I. "Charlie" Wolford 77, Gillett, was called home to Eternal
rest, Sunday morning, September 19, 1999. Charles was born
December 5, 1921, in Kimberly to the late Washington and Etta (Miller) Wolford.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. On May 15, 1948 Charlie
married Florence Petersen in Gillett. He retired from the former Lynnwood
Inc., Mosling. He was a member of the Tabor United Methodist
Church, Gillett. Charlie enjoyed spending quality time with hs family, he also
enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening.

    Survivors include his wife, of 51 tears, Florence of Gillett; one son
and daughter-in-law, Steve and Gisela of Green Bay; two daughter's and
sons-in-law, Shelby and Gerald Marshall of Gillett, and Sharon and
Bruce Schuettpelz of Oconto; five grandchildren; Autumn Wolford and
her fiance Shawn Dunn, Green Bay; morrika Wolford of st. Paul MN;
Britta of Columbia MD; Matthew and Mellisa Schuettpelz, both from
Oconto; one great-grandson, Zachery Wolford of Green Bay; Four
sisters-in-law, Stacia Wolford of Las Vegas, NV; Ann Wolford of
Cheyenne, WY; Freida Wolford of Appleton, and Betty Wolford of
Crivits; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was
preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Ann Wolford; two sisters
and eight brothers. Visitation will be held at the Kuehl Funeral Home,
Gillett, Wednesday from 4-8:00 p.m. and then at Tabor United Methodist
Church, Gillett, Thursday after 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be
held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 23, at the church with the Rev.
Laverne Ulrichsen officiating.
