Oconto Falls was stricken with sorrow for a second time within a week on Tuesday noon when the news went out that Mrs. James Wall, 53, had passed away at the City hospital, following a months illness. The direct cause of her death was heart trouble. She had been at the hospital the last two weeks of her life, where all that was humanly possible had been done to save her life, but to no avail, and she obeyed the summons to "come up higher."

Clara Agnes was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hurley and was born on August 27, 1878 at Stiles. She came to Oconto Falls with her parents in 1894, where in 1901, she was united in marriage to James Wall by the Rev. J.J. Bergmeyer. Mr. Wall and the seven children born to them survive. They are Marian, Mrs. Henry Swiedarke of Milwaukee, Ruth, Mrs. Emil Plain of Oconto Falls, Edna, James, Jr., Raymond Francis, and William at home. Other survivors are her step-mother, Mrs. Alice Hurley, a brother, John M. Hurley, five half sisters, Mrs. Harvey Rossow, Mrs. Howard Hamile, Irene and Marceline Hurley, all of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Fred Tischer of North Freedom, a half brother, Andrew Hurley, Milwaukee, and two grand children, Donald and Nona Sweidarke.

Mrs. Wall was a member of St. Anthony's Christian mother society and also affiliated with the Beatrice Review of the Woman's Benefit Association. Having resided in Oconto Falls since a young girl, she leaves a large circle of warm friends. Her absence among us will cause deep pain for many, even though we would not call her back.

Requiem mass will be sung at St. Anthony's catholic church at nine o'clock Friday morning by the Rev. Fr. Grosnick. Burial will be made in the local Catholic cemetery.

The sorrowing husband and children have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends and neighbors who are bearing with them as best they can the crushing burden of such a loss.
