He was born on November 7, 1929 in the Town of Brazeau to the late Reinhold and Hattie Herzog. He was a farmhand and also worked at Graetz Mfg. Co., Pound; Tousey Mfg. Co. of Suring and Drees Livestock in Peshtigo. Clarence liked to hunt and fish.
Surviving are six children, Wayne (Karen) Herzog of Pound, Linda Wilson of Milwaukee, Ronald (Sharon) Herzog of Valders, Anita (Larry) Rowe of Milwaukee, Scott (Susan) Herzog of Pound and Allen Herzog of Pound; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one sister, Dorothy Bruzan of Wausaukee. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Oscar, Bernard, Walter, Emil, Rudolph, and Ernest; three sisters, Clara Plonke, May Grasl, and Viola Gretzon, and one son-in-law, Mike Wilson.
Private family graveside services held at the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman assisted the family with the arrangements.
