She was born to the late Jess and Marie Buckovic Gagnon October 25, 1941 in Lena, WI. The former Carol Gagnon married Dennis Lemanski, Sr. October 28, 1967 at the former St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena. Carol had been working at Anchor Cupling and had previously worked at Goodwill Industries, Coleman Products, and Santa Rosa Shoe.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Carol's grandchildren were her life, she loved them very much. Carol is survived by her husband, Dennis, Sr.; two children, Dennis, Jr. Laura, Oconto; Jessie Lemanski, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Shawn and Kristina; six sisters, Jane Gagnon, Milpitas, CA; Sue Dan Kanack, Sharon Bob LeFebre, and Patricia Jack Fabry all of Lena; Colette Woodworth, Oconto Falls; Barbara Mike Frenzel, Menominee, MI; and one brother, Jess Jean Gagnon, Sutton, AK. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends called at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena, Thursday, April 12, from 10 a.m. until the time of services. The Funeral Service was held at 12 noon at the funeral home with Father Frank Schrage officiating.
