Carol was born August 12, 1920 , at Oconto, the only daughter of Arthur and Turine (Carlson) Funk. On January 27,1940, Carol was united in marriage to, Arthur LeMay at St. Peter Catholic Church, Oconto. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1990. They owned and operated LeMay Plumbing and Heating in Oconto from 1959 until retirement in 1977. Carol was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto.
Surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, Art; four children, Clarice Bolitho and her husband Richard, Oconto; Sharon Roulette and her husband Robert, Abrams; Julie Dorsey and her husband Michael, Kent, WA; and ,Richard Lemay and his wife Carol, Green Bay; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carolyn; four brothers, Wayne, Neil, Harley and Loren, and one grandson, Kevin Roulette.
The body will rest at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Joseph Site, Oconto from 2 until 4 pm Wednesday, November 25, 1998. Mass of Resurrection 4:00 pm Wednesday at the Church, the Rev. David Ruby officiating. Interment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto, Raymond B. Ackerman Jr. Funeral Director. Carol's family would like to Thank Unity Hospice as well as the nurses and staff at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Oconto, for all of the loving care provided to Carol and her family.
