Retired Farmer Passes Away at Bonduel Thursday

ADVANCE, Wis.- Carl Frederick Boettcher, 77, died at his home at Bonduel Thursday morning after being confined to his bed for two weeks. He was born in Warnow. Pommerania. Germany, on Oct. 4. 1854. About 50 years ago he came to America with his family and settled in the town of Hartland. Later purchasing the farm half mile east of Advance, now owned by Lloyd Black. About 10 years ago he retired from active farm life and since then has resided in the village of Bonduel. He is survived by eight children. 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. The children are: Mrs. Herman Wegner, Bonduel, Mrs. Albert Moede, Zachow, Mrs. Frank Samp, Bonduel; Mrs. John Miller, Shawano; Mrs. John Boettcher, Bonduel, Elmer Boettcher. Green Bay; and William and Arthur, Bonduel Mrs. Boettcher preceded him in death seven years ago. Funeral services will be held at the home and St. Paul's Lutheran church, Bonduel, Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Plischka officiating. His sons and sons-in-law will act as pall bearers. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
