Mr. Clarence Dugre, 91, long time Oconto resident died Monday afternoon, December 28, 1998 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Oconto.
Mr. Dugre was born May 7, 1907 at Hermansville, Michigan, the son of the late Arthur and Genevieve Dugre. On August 17, 1935, he was united in marriage to the former Florence Dorinski at Nadeau, MI. The couple farmed in Nadeau, until moving to Oconto in 1949. Clarence also worked as a cabinet maker most of his life. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto. His wife Florence preceded him in death on November 12, 1988.
Surviving are four sons, Duane (Lois), Pound; Harlan (Arlene), DePere; Dennis (Jan) Green Bay; and Byron, Oconto; three daughters, Doreatha Suchards, Sobieski: Carolyn Graf, Tucson and Clarice (John) Olsen, Mountain; two sisters, Marie Krimplbine, East Troy and Blanche Gegere, St. Paul; 26 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchi1dren.
Clarence was further preceded in death by two grandchildren as well as other brothers and sisters.
The family received relatives and friends at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 121 Chicago Street, Oconto. Service of Christian Burial was conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 1998 at the Funeral Home. The Rev. David Ruby officiated. Interment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
