FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. JOHN WOOD, WINONA  
 

OCONTO FALLS — Mrs. John D. Wood, Sr., 53, 777 Clark's Lane, Winona, Minnesota, died suddenly at her home Thursday, October 12 at 9 p. m. The former Cecilia Mary Bunker, she was born September 13, 1914, at Stiles. She was married in 1934 at Waukegan, Illinois, and was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. She had lived in Winona 19 years. Prior to that she lived in Los Angeles, California and Chicago.

Survivors are her husband, one son – John D., Jr., Rochester. Two brothers – Denis and Gerald Bunker of Fond du Lac; 5 sisters, Mrs. Joseph Doyle Sr. (Mable), Lena, Mrs. Norbert Patton (Eva), Green Bay; Mrs. Fred P. Richardson (Viola) of Delavan, Wisconsin; her twin sister, Lucille, Mrs. Fred Van Skike, Omaha, Nebraska and Mrs. Gerald Steffeck, (Clarese), Oconto Falls.

Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bunker of Oconto Falls. Friends called at the funeral home Sunday, October 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. Rosary was said at 8 o'clock.

Funeral services were Monday, October 16 at 8:30 a.m. at Faucett Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at the Cathedral. The Rev. Msgr. Harold J. Dittman officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona.
