Clarence was born July 8, 1910 to the late Antone and Lucy (Langlade) Carriveau. He married Caroline Lacs in 1939; she preceded him in death in 1981. Blackie was a 50-year resident of Oconto, WI where he worked at Holt Hardwood Mill and Cruisers.
He is survived by a daughter, Claire (Howard) Thorpe, Wisconsin Rapids; two grandchildren Lileen (David) Thwing, Madison; Raymond (Christine Lyons) Thorpe, Minneapolis.
His parents; wife Caroline; four brothers Lawrence, Francis, Clayton and Robert; six sisters Delia, Mae, Lillian, Evelyn, Mable and an infant sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Holy Trinity Parish from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursday, March 14. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon on Thursday at the church with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial will be at Oconto Catholic Cemetery. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, is assisting the family.
