CHESTER SCHAAL RITES
ARE HELD SATURDAY

Oconto Falls - Chester A. Schaal, 68, of Oconto Falls died at Oconto Falls Community Memorial Hospital Wednesday evening following a long illness.

 He was born January 6, 1901, in Beaver. He married the former Beatrice Spice on June 27, 1923, in Oconto Falls. He was employed by Scott Paper Company until his retirement in 1959.

 Survivors include his widow, four daughters, Mrs. Melvin Coopman of Oconto Falls, Mrs. Donald Pokos and Mrs. William Kesler of Milwaukee and Miss Elaine Schaal at home; three sons, Leonard of Racine, Ervin of Oconto abnd Walter of Oconto Falls; two brothers, Orville of Suring and Llewelyn of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Harris of Merrill and Mrs Robert Relso of Trego; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son preceded him in death.

 Funeral services were held at 2pm Saturday at the Soulek funeral home. The Rev. Dale Jennings officiated and burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oconto Falls.
