Carl A. 'Pappy' Luedtke, 82, died March 21, 2000. Carl was a veteran of World War II, a member of VFW Post 5716 New Berlin, a retired employee of the Milwaukee Rail Road and Wisconsin Cuneo Press. The Town Supervisor of Townsend, WI, Commissioner of Sanitation of Inland Lakes and a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include Gladys, his wife of over 59 years; his children, Carl N. Valeri Luedtke, Judy Schmidt Ed Zarzynski, Ronald W. Debbie Yenter and Linda Gary Amsrud.; one sister-in-law, Maralyn Pellowski and LeRoy McKnight of Gladstone, MI; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Saturday March 25 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 3030 W. Oklahoma Ave. Interment in Wisconsin Memorial Park. Suminski Family Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
