Services Held Today for Charles A. Leigh 
 

Funeral services are being held this afternoon for Charles A. Leigh, lifelong resident of the town of Stiles and prominent in community affairs, who passed away at his home Tuesday morning at 11:15 follow an illness of several weeks from heart disease.

Services are being held at the MacQueen funeral chapel with William Chesley, Raymond Leigh, Ed and Tom McAllister, Frank Horak and James Parkinson as pall bearers.

The deceased was born in the town of Stiles, Feb. 7, 1876 and followed a life of farmer and woodsman his entire life. He was a member of the Oconto chapter of the Royal Arch Masons. Masonic services are being conducted by the Blue Lodge of Oconto Falls of which he was a member. He also was a member of the Marinette Commandery K.T.

Mr. Leigh served for a number of years as chairman of the town of Stiles and as a member of the Oconto County Board.

He is survived by a sister Beatrice, at home, and several nieces and nephews includeing Mrs. J.M. Devereaux, Mrs. Grover Pamperin, Tom McAllister, all of Green Bay, Ed McAllister, LaGrande, Ore., Roy McAllister, Tipler, Wis.
