Bernice was born on July 18, 1913 in Phillips, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Lloyd and Della Irene (Locks) Wilson. On December 18, 1937 Bernice was united in marriage to William Snyder in Chicago, Illinois. William preceded her in death on July 28, 1977. After marriage the couple lived most of their life in Chicago, before relocating to this area in 1970.
Bernice is survived by one son, Gerald (Betty) Snyder of Oconto Falls; three daughters, Kathleen (Joel) Dills of Effingham, II.; Marian Walker of South Yorkshire, England; Jean (Robert) Riskus of Green Bay; three sisters, Edna Wilson of Iowa; Irene Shumaker of Peshtigo; Maxine Retzlaff of Nebraska; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband William, Bernice was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Jerome Wilson, one sister,. Dolly Mannheimer and one grandson, Jorge Masa.
Private family services were held on Wednesday, April 21, 1999. Jones Funeral Service, Oconto Falls assisted the family with arrangements.
