Mrs. Irving Robinson, 65, 506 N. Ashland Avenue, died in a local hospital Monday evening. She had been in ill health since last March when she broke her hip.
The former Blance Whitcome was born May 3, 1884 in the town of Abrams, and lived in Oconto most of her life until 1943 when she moved to Green Bay. Her husband did several years ago. The body was removed to the Gallagher Funeral home in Oconto where the rosary will be said at 8:15 Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Thursday in the funeral home, and at 9 o'clock in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Oconto. The Rev. Leonard Woelfel will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Survivors include three daughers, Miss Susan Robinson and Mrs. R. D. Terrien of Green Bay, and Mrs. Clarence Filz of Rockford, Ill; six sons Hewitt, Green Bay, Paul and Robert, Algoma; Willard and John, Rio Creek and Maynard, Chicago; two brothers, Lester Whitcomb, Little Suamico, and Harry, Burbank, Calif., 14 grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
