Close, Bonnie

Bonnie Mae (VandenBush) Close, 70, Green Bay, formerly of Oconto Falls, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 17, 1942, in Oconto Falls to Harley and Marcella (Krause) VandenBush. Bonnie attended Oconto Falls High School. She worked at Holiday Cleaners for 16 years.

While her early years sometimes brought challenges, her later years were full of joy. On February 26, 1977, she married Jerry Close. Bonnie enjoyed counted cross-stitch, photography, word puzzles and reading.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Jerry; her mother, Marcella "Sally" VandenBush; her mother-in-law, Betty Ault-Martin; six children, Wade Louison, Tami (fiance, David) Louison, Larry "Barney" (Patty) VandenBush, Kerry (fiance, Tamara) Deer, Crystal (Joe) Ledvina and Jason (Julie) Close; 13 grandchildren, Cassidy, Danielle, Josh, Max, Brooke, Kailyn, Timothy, Emily, Matthew, Brittany, Dakota, Danny and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Kamren; six sisters, Judy (Ed) Beyer, Sharon Steiner, LuAnn Newton, Lois (George) Ruediger, Terri (Scott) Decker and JoNelle (Kelly) Linjer; one brother, Jay VandenBush; a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Harold (Cathy) Close Jr., Patt (Bob) Sutton and Martie (David) Ferguson; her canine companion, Wynston; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harley "Joe" VandenBush; a sister, Connie VandenBush and her father-in-law, Harold Close Sr.
