Bernice E. RAKOWSKI, 71, of 8276 Goldhorn Rd., Pound died Thursday, July 8, 1999 at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette. She was born to Gust and Lucille (GRACTZ) TACHICK February 14, 1928 in the Town of Brazeau. The Former Bernice TACHICK married Lloyd RAKOWSKI February 22, 1944 in the Town of Brazeau. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church, Crivitz. Bernice enjoyed gardening, cooking, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: husband, Lloyd; children, Daniel (Betty), Pound; David (Ilona), Pound; Ruth (Dale) BADORA, Pound; Lois RAKOWSKI, Wausau; mother, Lucille, Pound; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grand-children; 2 brothers, Irvin (Carolyn), Pound; Marvin (Beverly), Pound; 2 sisters, Beatrice SHEVY, Pound; Lois (Russel) KOSTREVA, Pound. She was preceded in death by her father, Gust.
Friends called at Trinity Assembly of God Church, Crivitz, Monday, July 12, 1999 from 3:00 PM until time of services. Funeral service was 7:00 PM at the Church, Rev. John Koch officiated. Interment in First Baptist Cemetery, Pound. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman is assisting the family.
