Oconto Falls - Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Beatrice Schaal, 69, of Green Bay Ave., Oconto Falls. She died at Cummunity Memorial Hospital.

 A native of Oconto Falls, the former Beatrice Spice was born Aug 3, 1907. She was married to Chester Schaal on June 27, 1923. He died on Feb. 5, 1969.

 Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Donld Pokos of Milwaukee, Mrs Melvin Coopeman, Mrs Phyllis Kesler and Miss Elaine Schaal of Oconto Falls; three sons, Leonard of Green Bay, Ervin of Oconto and Walter of Oconto Falls.

 Also surviving are two brothers, John Spice of Appleton and Clyde of Iron Mountain, Mich.; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A son, three sisters and five brothers died previously.

 The pall bearers were Robert Schaal, James and Jack Coopman, Daniel Larmay, Gerald and Robert Schaal.
