Bernice Ann McDaniel Tucker Otto

Bernice Ann Otto, 79, of Townsend, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2000 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Bernice was born on June 19, 1921 in the Town of Freedom. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Frances (Brouillard) McDaniel. She had spent most of her life living in Northern Wisconsin. In October of 1938, Bernice married Herbert Tucker. Then on June 18, 1966, she married Eugene Otto. She loved to cook, bake, pick berries, and especially loved to care for her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia (Robert) Schatz of Sullivan, MO; Donna (Mike) Poling of Wabeno, WI; Karen (Mikey) Tucker of Wabeno, WI; two sons, Ray (Dorothy) Tucker of San Diego, CA; Doug (Linda)Tucker of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Audrey Harris of Blackwell, WI; Ruth (Bud) Splitgerber of Green Bay; three brothers, Jim McDaniel of Milwaukee, WI; Everett (Arlene) McDaniel of Thiensville, WI; Lester McDaniel of Cedarburg, WI. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, and one sister, Luella.

Visitation was on Sunday, December 10, at Suminski Funeral Home in Wabeno. The funeral service was held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Stanley Browne officiating. Interment was at Forest Home Cemetery in Townsend, WI.
