Beatrice was born October 25, 1914 in Oak Orchard to the late Peder and Aasa Mickelson Moe. Beatrice began work as a teacher in a one room school in Pensaukee. She taught for five different schools, the last being in Allouez. Beatrice taught for 40 years until her retirement in 1977. Beatrice was a very active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church until the merger with the First American Lutheran Church, where she has been a member ever since. Beatrice is survived by two brothers, Dr. Robert Evelyn Moe, Fall River, MA; Wesley Jean Moe, Green Bay; five nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and their spouses, Elvira John Stenberg, Olga John Heiman, Ella Moe and two brothers, Melvin and Peter.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the First American Lutheran Church, Oconto, from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2000. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Richard DeBenedetto officiating and burial at the Evergreen Cemetery. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, is in charge of the arrangements.
