Brett Mathew Maaske, 28, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at a local hospital.
He was born Aug. 27, 1970 in Green Bay to Curtis and Sharon Maaske. He graduated from Preble High School in 1988 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Plattville where he was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity.
Survivors include his parents, Curtis Maaske of Green Bay and Sharon Maaske of Green Bay; his maternal grandparents, Arnold and Viola Anderson of Oconto Falls; his paternal grandparents, Bette Woodworth of Oconto, Curtis and Carole Maaske of Manitowoc; his aunts and uncles, Arnold and Randae Anderson of Brillion, Robert and Jenny Anderson of Little Suamico, Shirley and Roger Murphy of Little Suamico, John Anderson and Jeree of Gillett, Janice and Todd Sturman of Niagara, Linnea and Mike Bonville of Green Bay, Nancy and Dennis Travers of Green Bay, and very special friends, Sandra, Gary and Bill Fye.
Visitation was held at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. A Parish Wake Service was held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Friends also called at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray at., from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial was held at 4;00 P.M. Friday at the church with the Rev. Joseph Coopmans O. Praem officiating.
