Mrs. Julius (Betty) Makos, 68, Oconto Falls, died Wednesday at Community Memorial Hospital Oconto Falls. Visitation Thursday, 4-9 p.m.. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman. Funeral Friday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Julius (Betty) Makos

 Mrs. Julius (Betty) Makos, 68, 103 N. Farm Rd., Oconto Falls. died Wednesday. Feb. 23, 1994 at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls. The former Betty Kadlec was born May 17. 1925 in Spruce to the late Pat and Carrie Kadlec. She was married to Julius Makos June 3, 1946 at Green Bay. The couple resided at Rost Lake, Green Bay and Milwaukee for 18 years and Tempe, Ariz. They also lived at Coleman for 20 years before moving to Oconto Falls three years ago. Betty was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Green Bay.

Surviving besides her husband Julius; one son, Calvin (Cheryl) Makos, Coleman; three grandchildren; three brothers, Calvin Kadlec, Spruce; Bud (Ann) Kadlec, Wisconsin Rapids; Wayne (Lorraine); Kadlec. Green Bay; one sister, Delores (Marvin) Brickner, Coleman.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Linda in 1976, one sister Ardis Colling.

Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman from 4 to 9 p.m. today. Wake service 7:30 p.m. today. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Marks officiating. Burial in Kadlec Cemetery, Town of Spruce

Mrs. Julius (Betty) Makos, 68, of 103 North Farm road, Oconto Falls, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 23 at Community Memorial hospital, Oconto Falls.

The former Betty Kadlec was born May 17, 1925 in Spruce to the late Mr. and Mrs. Pat Kadlec. She married Julius Makos on June 3, 1946 at Green Bay. The couple resided at Rost Lake, Green Bay and Milwaukee for 18 years and also in Tempe, AZ. They resided at Coleman for 20 years before moving to Oconto Falls three years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima church, Green Bay.

Her husband survives with one son, Calvin Makos of Coleman; three grandchildren; three brothers, Calvin Kadlec of Spruce, Bud Kadlec of Wisconsin Rapids and Wayne Kadlec of Green Bay and a sister, Mrs. Marvin (Delores) Brickner of Coleman.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda in 1976 and a sister, Ardis Coiling.

Friends may call Thursday, Feb. 24 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral home, Coleman from 4 until 9 p.m. There will be a wake service at 7:30 p.m. with services conducted Friday, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Marks will officiate with burial in Kadlec cemetery town of Spruce.
