Blanche G. Knitter HOPPE

Blanche G. Hoppe 87, of New Care Convalescent Center, Crivits, died Monday, October 18, 1999 at Bay area Medical Center, Marinette.

The daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Smukulla) Knitter was born January 9, 1912 in Milwaukee. She was married to Joseph Cutty in 1926 at Holy Family Church, Milwaukee and he preceded her in death in 1950. In 1955 Blanche was married to Herman Hoppe at St. Louis Church in Milwaukee. They resided in Crivits and Herman preceded her in death in 1983. Blanche also resided in Pound and Coleman. She was a member of Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman.

Surviving are nine grandchildren including David (Sharon) Cutty of Beecher, Alvin (Francis) Cutty of Crivits and Patricia (Warren) Turcott of Waukesha; 15 great-grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons; Frank and Larry Cutty, and one grand-daughter Melanie Nelson.

Friends may call at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. John Hephner will officiate with burial at St. Leo catholic Cemetery, Pound. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman assisting the family with arrangements.
