Bernice G. Larson, 91, of 325 Park Ave., Oconto died October 18, 1999 at Oconto Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Bernice was born January 24, 1908 at Oconto to the late Joseph and Minnie Gordon. She was a lifetime resident of Oconto. A school teacher for many years, she taught at Edgerton, Almond, Port Edwards and Oconto, WI retiring in June of 1970. Bernice was a member of First American Lutheran Church, Oconto and the Ladies Aid and Naomi Circle at the church. Survivors include two grand-children, Nathan Larson, Arkansas; Adam Larson, Texas; very dear friends J. Kaye (Richard) Huff, Missouri; Luella Sloup, Oconto; other cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Dean.

Friends called at the First American Lutheran Church, Oconto. Funeral service was held 11 a.m. Friday, October 22, 1999, at the church with Rev. Richard DeBenedetto officiating. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be given to First American Lutheran Church. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto assisted the family.
